Lack of force feedback during minimally invasive procedures is one of the downsides of such interventions and might result to excessive damage to surrounding tissues. The goal of the present research is to introduce a vision-based approach to estimate contact forces on soft tissues. In this approach, a model was developed in which, image of deformation of a sample soft tissue, under the jaws of laparoscopic gripper, is the input and the output is the gripper force. In this research, a computational method based on thermodynamic and physical metallurgy coupled by the d-electron approach was used to design the composition of a high strength and heat resistant (HSHR) stainless steel. Then, three series of the heat resistant 25Cr-35Ni-Nb (HP-Nb) stainless steels with tungsten, nitrogen, and micro alloying elements additions were cast. In these alloys a Nb/(C+ 6/7 N) ratio of ≈ 2.4 to 3.7 was chosen and they were directionally solidified under two cooling rates of 23 Ks-1 and 6 Ks-1. In this project, a fault-tolerant attitude control system is developed for thruster-driven satellites. The proposed method has the advantage over current state-of-the-art approaches in that it does not require a fault detection and isolation system. In the present study, the simulation of incompressible Electro-Magneto-hydrodynamic flows is performed using a finite volume lattice Boltzmann method (FVLBM). The Boltzmann transport equation is solved using a cell-centered finite volume method on structured meshes. Here, we have simulated isothermal vacuum assisted resin transfer moulding (VARTM) using a control volume/finite element scheme. Two dimensional and dimensional (shell geometries) spatial discretization is used. Resin motion through fibers is enforced by vacuum negative pressure in downstream. The Externality from Communal Metering of Residential Water: The Case of Tehran

Abstract
Many countries use a single water meter for multiple units within a building. This creates a cost externality where the cost of water consumed is spread over all units. Using administrative data from Tehran Water and Wastewater Co. for 2013 and 2014, we find an increase in the number of units on a communal meter on average increases per unit use by 0.4 percent. Estimation at different levels of units reveals that almost all communal meters have higher per unit water use. The results suggest that the externality is responsible for 2.7 percent of water consumption in our sample.

On May 5, 2014, Iran began the Health Transformation Plan in public hospitals to promote vaginal delivery by increasing physician fees and by freeing payment of natural labor. About five month later part of the plan extended to non-public hospitals, and the fee of vaginal delivery increased there as well. These consequent exogenous policies provide an ideal environment to examine how Ob/Gyn physicians and pregnant mothers respond to financial incentives using difference-in-difference identification.
