    Abstract
Perovskite solar cells fabrication process need inert or low humidity atmospheres. While highly efficient perovskite solar cells to overcome the photovoltaic marketing should be achieved stability at any environmental conditions. At high humidity, water molecules react with the perovskite layer and increase the degradation rate, leading to a drastic decrease in device performance and perovskite crystallinity. In this work, the effect of environmental humidity on photophysical parameters of wide bandgap, (WBG) perovskite layer and solar cells stability is systematically investigated and tBP is proposed as an additive in perovskite precursor to increase the moisture resistance and improve the...

    Abstract
By the advances in location-aware applications over the Internet, the need for information such as the geographical position of routers and hosts and also the Euclidian distance of nodes is more important than ever. These kinds of information can also provide a valuable insight for network administrators, analysts, and many others. In this paper, we propose an algorithm, called GPE, to estimate the geographical position of nodes across the Internet. In the proposed approach, Internet topology is modeled by a weighted graph. Each node of the graph may have a corresponding estimation of its position. Weight of each edge, in this graph, indicates the estimated length of corresponding link in...

On ideal homomorphic secret sharing schemes and their decomposition

    , Article Designs, Codes, and Cryptography ; Volume 89, Issue 9 , 2021 , Pages 2079-2096 ; 09251022 (ISSN) Ghasemi, F ; Kaboli, R ; Khazaei, S ; Parviz, M ; Rafiei, M. M ; Sharif University of Technology

    Abstract
In 1992, Frankel and Desmedt introduced a technique that enables one to reduce the secret space of an ideal homomorphic secret sharing scheme (IHSSS) into any of its characteristic subgroups. In this paper, we propose a similar technique to reduce the secret space of IHSSSs called the quotient technique. By using the quotient technique, we show that it is possible to yield an ideal linear scheme from an IHSSS for the same access structure, providing an alternative proof of a recent result by Jafari and Khazaei. Moreover, we introduce the concept of decomposition of secret sharing schemes. We give a decomposition for IHSSSs, and as an application, we present a necessary and sufficient...

    Abstract
Vulnerabilities are now part of all software systems. To handle vulnerabilities, many approaches have been proposed till now. Many of these approaches try to analyze vulnerabilities based on model checking techniques. However, the models used in these approaches handle authorized and unauthorized rules separately. This basically cause in weaker modeling abilities and consequently weaker vulnerability analysis. From authorized and unauthorized rules, we mean those emanated from access control model and those originated from vulnerabilities respectively. Currently, a new general graph-based protection system concentrating on vulnerabilities called VGBPS is proposed to overcome the mentioned...

    Abstract
The research examines the influence of Kant’s practical philosophy on John Rawls’ theory of justice, under the concept of “autonomy”. In the initial chapter, foundational concepts of the study such as “autonomy” and “duty” are discussed in detail within the context of prevailing views in moral philosophy, particularly deontological ethics. The overarching idea of this chapter is to establish a general conceptual framework for posing the main research question. The second chapter of this research specifically and independently elucidates Kant’s practical philosophy and clarifies his interpretation of the concept of “autonomy”. The aim of structuring this chapter is to demonstrate that...

Acceleration of Image Reconstruction on the Magnetic Resonance Imaging System

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Rafiei, Ali (Author) ; Vossoughi, Nasser (Supervisor) ; Vosughi Vahdat, Bijan (Supervisor) ; Zamani, Pooria ($item.subfieldsMap.e)
    Abstract
Magnetic Resonance Imaging ,MRI, although as one of the most advanced medical imaging equipment is well known but compared to other medical imaging systems needs more time to imaging, so it has caused the patient dissatisfaction. According to the recently researches, filling the image data in a space of information that called ‘k-space’, in the process of image reconstruction, is the main reason of slow MRI. Image reconstruction methods for accelerating like half scan based on image reconstruction by using only a part of k-space is used in MRI systems today, but this method is associated with lower SNR image. Recent research on the theory of compressed sensing has been opened a new approach...

    Scaffold Fabrication for Corneal Regeneration

, Ph.D. Dissertation Sharif University of Technology Mahdavi Salimi, Sharareh (Author) ; Abdekhodaie, Mohammad Jafar (Supervisor) ; Mashayekhan, Shohreh (Supervisor) ; Baradaran Rafiei, Alireza (Co-Supervisor)
    Abstract
3D bioprinting technology is a promising approach for corneal stromal tissue regeneration. At first, two different concentrations of GelMA macromer (7.5% and 12.5%) were tested for corneal stroma bioprinting. Due to high macromer concentrations, 12.5% GelMA was stiffer than 7.5% GelMA, which made it easier to handle. In terms of water content and optical transmittance of the bioprinted scaffolds, we observed that scaffold with 12.5% GelMA concentration was closer to the native corneal stroma tissue. Subsequently, cell proliferation, gene and protein expression of human corneal stromal cells encapsulated in the bioprinted scaffolds were investigated. Cytocompatibility in 12.5% GelMA scaffolds...

    Abstract
In this work, a simple method to prepare white light emissive diodes based on quantum dot (QD) colloidal solutions using mixed carbon QDs (CQDs) and CsPbI3 perovskite (PQDs) is reported. The right combination generates emission across the entire visible spectrum upon ultraviolet excitation. The white light emission of the final films provides high and stable color rendering index of 92%, tuning the chromaticity coordinates of the emission through the applied voltage. By varying the CsPbI3 QD concentration, a mixture is obtained that emits the “warm”, “neutral”, and “cold” white light sought for many indoor lighting applications, or to approximate the visible region of the solar spectrum,...

    Abstract
Background: Combating viral hepatitis is part of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and WHO has put forth hepatitis B elimination targets in its Global Health Sector Strategy on Viral Hepatitis (WHO-GHSS) and Interim Guidance for Country Validation of Viral Hepatitis Elimination (WHO Interim Guidance). We estimated the global, regional, and national prevalence of hepatitis B virus (HBV), as well as mortality and disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) due to HBV, as part of the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study (GBD) 2019. This included estimates for 194 WHO member states, for which we compared our estimates to WHO elimination targets. Methods: The primary...

    Abstract
Background: Comprehensive and comparable estimates of health spending in each country are a key input for health policy and planning, and are necessary to support the achievement of national and international health goals. Previous studies have tracked past and projected future health spending until 2040 and shown that, with economic development, countries tend to spend more on health per capita, with a decreasing share of spending from development assistance and out-of-pocket sources. We aimed to characterise the past, present, and predicted future of global health spending, with an emphasis on equity in spending across countries. Methods: We estimated domestic health spending for 195...

    Abstract
Background: Measuring routine childhood vaccination is crucial to inform global vaccine policies and programme implementation, and to track progress towards targets set by the Global Vaccine Action Plan (GVAP) and Immunization Agenda 2030. Robust estimates of routine vaccine coverage are needed to identify past successes and persistent vulnerabilities. Drawing from the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study (GBD) 2020, Release 1, we did a systematic analysis of global, regional, and national vaccine coverage trends using a statistical framework, by vaccine and over time. Methods: For this analysis we collated 55 326 country-specific, cohort-specific, year-specific,...
