    This MA dissertation is dedicated to the introduction and discussion of David Chalmers’ neo-Fregean account of the semantics of linguistic terms like proper names and natural kind terms and the consequences of these discussions for the problem of consciousness. Chalmers’ neo-Fregean framework which he calls “The Two-Dimensional Semantics” is developed to defend a neo-Fregean account of the meaning of linguisting terms while acknowledging the insights of Kripke’s criticisms of the crude Fregean view. Collecting and classifying all documents related to this policy process, and based on interviews with main actors involved in this process (with different objectives) and using thematic analysis, we first attempt to classify the main actors involved in the process.     Motif discovery is a challenging problem in molecular biology and has been attracting researcher's attention for years. Different kind of data and computational methods have been used to unravel this problem, but there is still room for improvement. In this study, our goal was to develop a method with the ability to identify all the TFBS signals, including known and unknown, inside the input set of sequences. We developed a clustering method specialized as part of our algorithm which outperforms other existing clustering methods such as DNACLUST and CD-HIT-EST in clustering short sequences.     How do we enter into empathic relations with inanimate objects (IO)? Do we indirectly infer that they possess mental states, or directly perceive them as mental things? In recent years these questions have been addressed by a number of authors. Some argue in favor of an indirect approach that involves mediatory procedures; others defend a direct approach that postulates no intermediate. In this paper I argue on the side of the latter.     A nonlinear inverse finite element method is developed for estimation of initial blank shape and strain distribution in final shape. This method often based on implicit static algorithms, causes sometimes convergence problems because of strong nonlinearities. In order to avoid the converging problems, especially in the quasi vertical walls, an appropriate initial guess is introduced.     The aim of this investigation is the experimental study of nozzle exhaust jet flow effects on aerodynamic behavior of an air vehicle at transonic speeds. For this sake, a secondary jet injection is used by the ejector into test model. The ejector total pressure for jet injection varies between 0 (jet off) to 4 bar for simulating nozzle exhaust jet flow and supplying intake’s required mass flow rate. All tests were conducted at QRC Trisonic wind tunnel and at Mach number of 0.5 to 0.85 and angles of -4 to 6 deg.
