, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Bakhtiarvand, Bahador (Author) ; Yaghmaei, Soheila (Supervisor) ; Tarahomjoo, Shirin (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Flagella is the organelle involved in motility of Salmonella and plays an important role in colonization of Salmonella. Flagellins is the structural subunits of flagellar filament that is known as an adjuvant. Recombinant production of flagellin of S. enteritidis is advantageous due to the removal of pathogenic microorganism from the production process and improved process safety. E.coli is an appropriate host for the expression of recombinant proteins. However, its major obstacle is the formation of inclusion bodies. Inclusion bodies are aggregated inactive proteins and the recovery of proteins in the active form from these aggregates usually has a low yield. Therefore, the objective of our...

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Taher Aslani, Ahmad Reza (Author) ; Rousta Azad, Reza (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Lipases (Triacyl Glycerol Acyl Hydrolase, EC.3.1.1.3) are multidimensional biocatalysts which have many applications in food industrials, dairy, fats and oils processing, detergents, synthesis of pure chemical and pharmaceutical materials, paper industrial and cosmetics. Generally, industrial enzymes are produced extracellularly, so their separation from a low-cost complex medium (usually used for production) is one of the cost stages in their production process. Filtration is the most economical method of separation in the production of enzymes, but due to the small size of colloidal particles and cell masses present in the fermentation environment, its use is subject to limitations. In...

    Abstract
Authenticating in transaction of digital media becomes an active research field now a day. That is emerging due to the illegal use of digital media and hacking by unauthorized users. Spatial domain based watermarking methods are one of the authentication methods. These methods are not generally robust against intentional or unintentional changes in the images. In this paper, a new method is proposed to recover watermark more precisely in the spatial domain watermarking method. A high-boost filtering is utilized before executing watermark extraction procedure. The watermark information is magnified by preforming this filter. Effectiveness of this filter is proved by several experiment....

    Abstract
In this study, a mixture of nano-encapsulated phase change materials in water has been used as the working fluid in a pulsating heat pipe in order to investigate its thermal performance. The results of the experiments showed that using the nano-encapsulated paraffin dispersed in water as working fluid improves heat transfer and decreases the thermal resistance of the pulsating heat pipe. On the other hand, among the tested concentrations for nano-encapsulated paraffin, there is an optimal value in which increasing the concentration causes an increase in the thermal resistance of the pulsating heat pipe due to the increased dynamic viscosity of the fluid. Enhancement in the thermal...
