    In this paper, the effects of different environmental parameters on power probability density function (PDF) curve and annual energy production of a wind turbine are studied. In each step one of these parameters is changed, and in each case, Wind turbine and wind speed is simulated and produced power has been calculated in every hours of one year. At last it was concluded that altitude above sea level (that affects the air density) and the k factor of weibull distribution have more important effects on wind turbine produced power than the others. © 2008 IEEE

    This paper presents a new algorithm based on integrating the use of genetic algorithms and simulated annealing methods to optimal allocation of distributed generation resources in distribution networks. Through this algorithm a significant improvement in the optimization goal is achieved.     Abstract
    This article presents a new optimization algorithm based on integrating the use of genetic algorithms and tabu search methods to optimal allocation of dispersed generation resources in distribution networks. The proposed algorithm finds how much distribution losses can be reduced if dispersed generations are optimally allocated at the demand side of power system. A significant improvement of the proposed algorithm results, over that obtained by genetic algorithm, has been achieved.     In this study, a mixture of nano-encapsulated phase change materials in water has been used as the working fluid in a pulsating heat pipe in order to investigate its thermal performance. The results of the experiments showed that using the nano-encapsulated paraffin dispersed in water as working fluid improves heat transfer and decreases the thermal resistance of the pulsating heat pipe.
