    Growth of the world population, increasing demand for fossil fuel consumption and consequently increasing threat of global warming, has extended the need for production and use of clean fuels and normal hydrogen is an important utility in the production of clean fuels. In this paper, a mathematical optimization method is applied which is based on non-linear programming of superstructure for minimizing the consumption of hydrogen.     This paper presents a state of the art review of adsorption models for a new plant-based surfactant adsorption onto sandstone minerals. The adsorption data at both kinetic and equilibrium modes were obtained from batch experiments. Four adsorption kinetic models, five two-parameter, and six three-parameter equilibrium models were used for interpretation of the obtained data. Among the two and three-parameter isotherm models applied, the Jovanovic and the Khan isotherms showed the best fit, respectively.     Abstract
    Most of the reservoirs in Iran are heterogeneous fractured carbonate reservoirs. Heterogeneity causes an earlier breakthrough and an unstable front, which leads to a lower recovery. In this study, a series of experiments was conducted whereby the n-Heptane displaced n-Decane in glass micromodels having different fracture geometries. Experimental data from image analysis of miscible displacement processes are used to modify the fractional flow equations by a heterogeneity factor.     In order to define a new temperature correction factor in this study, accurate experimental values were presented for permeability and diffusivity of carbon dioxide and methane in imidazolium-based room temperature ionic liquid: [bmim][PF6] (1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate) immobilized on an inorganic membrane support.     In this work, to investigate the source of pressure fluctuations, behavior of a single bubble in a two-dimensional gas–solid fluidized bed was studied. Pressure sensors located at different heights of the bed measured presure fluctuations, and simultaneously a high speed camera was used to pursue all steps from formation to eruption of bubbles.
