    Abstract
    In this paper the problem of target detection using coherent pulse terrain in auto regressive (AR) clutter has been considered for MIMO radars. We have formulated this problem as a hypothesis test. Using the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) an adaptive decision scheme has been developed for clutter with known order but unknown parameters. The performance of the proposed detectors have been evaluated using Monte-Carlo simulations. The results show the superiority of the MIMO radars with temporal coherent processing over the conventional phased arrays due to both angular spread and a newly presented phenomenon which is called doppler spread in this paper. © 2006 IEEE

    In triangulation (or angle of arrival) target localisation method, the surface of the Earth is approximated by a flat plate. This approximation, while acceptable for low-altitude observers (such as unmanned aerial vehicles), is not a correct model for high-altitude observers (such as low Earth orbit - LEO satellites). In this study, the authors have discussed triangulation method using a LEO satellite observer over a spherical surface and have shown that, using spherical trigonometry and singular value decomposition (SVD), a straight forward solution can be found for target localisation problem.     This paper proposes a new variable frequency zero voltage switching (ZVS) control method for boost converter operating in boundary conduction mode (BCM). The intended method keeps the converter in BCM despide of the load and input voltage variations. This is done by changing switching frequency in a certain specified range. The proposed method can guarantee circuit performance in BCM via zero-crossing detection of the inductor current and changing the switching frequency.     Many factors cause degeneration of the measured signal in magnetic flux leakage (MFL). One of these factors is non-uniformity of the magnetic flux inside the sample under test. Uniformity of the magnetic flux results in smoother and more predictable signals from various discontinuity types and also a reduction in the eddy current distortions induced because of the movement of the magnetizing yoke.     In this paper, a fast and accurate algorithm for identifying circular objects in images is proposed. The presented method is a robust, fast and optimized adaption of Circular Hough Transform (CHT), Eigenvalues of Covariance Matrix and K-means clustering techniques. Results are greatly improved by implementing iterative K-means clustering algorithm and establishing an exponential growth instead of updating values in the parameter space of CHT through summation, both in runtime and quality. The objective of this study was to measure the amount of the anterior tibial translation (ATT) of the ACL-deficient knees during selective open and closed kinetic chain exercises.     Electrochemical potential noise analysis was used to investigate corrosion behavior of copper electrodes in presence of 0.001, 0.005, 0.01 and 0.02 M benzotriazole (BTA) inhibitor. Energy distribution of the potential noise was obtained from wavelet transformation using the 4th order Daubechies pattern. Two lowest frequencies were added-up and fitted to the impulse response of the first order circuit to achieve the time-constant vs. concentration (T-C) diagram. T-C diagram can be used either as a conventional diagram of inhibition efficiency or a tool for evaluation of the surface film dielectric constant.
