    Abstract
    Since low-cost RFID systems are applied in ubiquitous varied applications, privacy and security of their users became a great concern. Therefore, the various authentication protocols have been proposed. In this paper, we inspect the three new-found RFID authentication protocols based on quadratic residue property via one of the well-organized formal RFID privacy models instead of intuitive analysis. We formally prove that modular squaring is the suitable technique to guarantee RFID authentication protocols against backward traceability.     Event-related potential (ERP) extraction from ongoing electroencephalograph (EEG) and its enhancement is one of the long-established problems in EEG signal processing. Most of the previous studies have focused mainly on the ERP enhancement without considering the multi-dimentional structure of the signal.     In the present paper, the seismic response of an arch dam subjected to spatial variation of ground motions along the interface with its foundations is investigated. Recorded ground accelerations at the dam foundation interface of an arch dam were used for the purpose of this investigation. Topographic amplification between various points of the interface was studied by obtaining ratios of the response spectral displacement and spectral pseudo acceleration.     Abstract
    The flow behaviour of Al–SiC nanocomposites prepared by mechanical milling and hot powder extrusion methods was studied at different temperatures (350–500°C) and strain rates (0.005–0.5 s−1). The flow of the Powder metallurgy nanocomposites exhibited a peak stress followed by a dynamic flow softening behaviour. It was shown that mechanical milling increased high-temperature strain rate sensitivity of ultrafine-grained (UFG) aluminium while decreasing its flow dependence to temperature. Constitutive analysis of the hot deformation process by Zener–Hollomon parameter (Z) also indicated a remarkable increase in the deformation activation energy (about 40%).     The subject of this study is design of a linear quadratic Gaussian controller based on identification of dynamic behavior of unmanned model helicopter “Raptor” in its hover flight. To achieve this end, first, the helicopter linear transfer functions are identified with frequency response method by applying specific inputs to the model of Raptor in the X-Plane software and receiving system outputs via Simulink. Next, using the identified dynamic model of the helicopter, an optimum linear controller is designed for hover flight.     Ni/SiC nanocomposite coatings were electrodeposited using Watts type bath and different SiC particle size. The electrodeposition behavior of Ni/SiC nanoelectrocomposites was studied using electrochemical techniques such as impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and voltammetry. In this study it was shown that SiC particles modify the EIS diagram and voltammograms as well as surface morphology of electrodeposited layers. Experimental results showed that SiC particles not only affect the formation of intermediate species and decrease charge transfer resistance but also increase the nucleation sites for nickel electrodeposition and thus affect the microstructure of electrodeposited Ni/SiC nanocomposites....

    Study of Microstructure and Hot Deformation Behavior of Aluminum Nanocomposites Reinforced with SiC Nanoparticles

    Hot deformation behavior of Al-SiC nanocomposites was investigated in this study. Aluminum powders with mean size of 60 micron and SiC nanopowders (mean size of 45nm) in amounts of 1 and 2 volume percents, as reinforced part, were mixed and milled for 40 hours by planetary ball mill. After degassing at 450 oC for 1 hour, milled powders were pressed into Aluminum cans (in Argon atmosphere) and then hot extruded. Extrusion ratio was 1:14. High density billets (with 98% of theoretical density) were produced because of that high extrusion ratio.
