    Abstract
    Fog computing environment consists of several devices which distribute across an arbitrary topology. Each of these devices is capable of carrying out a designated computation simultaneously with other devices. One of the common ways of describing a computation is through the usage of workflows. Workflow is a flexible and formal way of modeling tasks and their requirements for execution. A workflow is essentially a DAG. Therefore, it can model the data dependency between tasks quite accurately.     Calculating the Bandstructure of eSoM2-BN-Gr_h Heterostructure and Its Hopping Parameters for Tight Binding

    Abstract
    The purpose of this research is to introduce a heterostructure for Vertical Tunneling Field-Effect Transitors, calculating its band structure and finding the tight binding hopping parameters of its structure. To do this, we must first study different kinds of heterostructures and choose the most suitable one among them. In this research, we selected the three-layer graphene eSoM2-BN-Gr_h for its high on/off current ratio (〖10〗^6).     Fabrication of Gas Nanosensor based on 2D Nanostructure Titanium trisulfide/Graphene Heterojunction

    Abstract
    Titanium trisulfide (TiS3), a transition metal chalcogenide, bears the potential to replace silicon, when taking the form of nanoflakes, due to its favorable band gap and optical response. In this work, first we investigate the response of TiS3 nanoflakes to gas detection through a careful quantum computational approach and a few succinct measurements. The computations are benchmarked and compared with a relevant experiment at each step, where their results/conclusions are discussed. The most stable surface of TiS3 particles is determined to (001), in agreement with the literature.     Capacitive deionization (CDI) is a suitable method for water desalination with low energy consumption and high efficiency, which does not have secondary pollution and is environmentally friendly. The hybrid capacitive deionization uses a faradaic electrode next to the carbonaceous electrode, taking advantage of both electrodes, and high capacities have also been reported.
