    Abstract
    Most condensate gas reservoirs discovered in Iran are rich in intermediate components. The phase diagram of these fluids is essential for reservoir management. The available commercial reservoir fluid simulators are not able to find the critical point of some of these condensate gas reservoirs to obtain the phase diagram quality lines. The quality lines of these reservoir's samples can be obtained experimentally using the constant mass expansion test data. The authors present experimental development of gas condensate phase diagram along with retrograde condensation and revaporization characterization during the reservoir depletion process of one Iranian condensate gas reservoir

    Abstract
    Reservoir heterogeneity has a major effect on the characterization of reservoir properties and consequently reservoir forecast. In reality, heterogeneity is observed in a wide range of scales from microns to kilometers. A reasonable approach to study this multi-scale variations is through fractals. Fractal statistics provide a simple way of relating variations on larger scales to those on smaller scales and vice versa. Simple statistical fractal models (fBm and fGn) can be useful to understand the model construction and help the reservoir structure characterization.     Most reservoirs in Iran are heterogeneous fractured carbonate reservoirs. Heterogeneity causes an earlier breakthrough and an unstable front which leads to a lower recovery. A series of experiments were conducted whereby the distilled water displaced n-Decane in strongly oil-wet glass micro-models containing a single fracture. Experimental data from image analysis of immiscible displacement processes are used to modify the Buckley-Leverett and fractional flow equations by a heterogeneity factor. It is shown that the heterogeneity factor in the modified equations can be expressed as a function of fracture length and orientation

    Transient rate decline curve analysis for constant pressure production is presented in this paper for a naturally fractured reservoir. This approach is based on exponential and constant bottom-hole pressure solution. Based on this method, when ln (flow rate) is plotted versus time, two straight lines are obtained which can be used for estimating different parameters of a naturally fractured reservoir.     Producing from gas condensate reservoirs under dew-point pressure and at constant temperature shows a complex behavior because of existing liquid condensate around the well. Zones with different mobilities generate three zones as a zone away from the well containing only gas, a zone having liquid around the well and finally a zone containing movable oil and gas. Existence of condensate around wellbore reduces gas relative permeability and as a result productivity index of the well will decrease.     In the present paper we investigate the problem of water propagation in 2 dimensional (2D) petroleum reservoir in which each site has the probability p of being occupied. We first analyze this propagation pattern described by Darcy equations by focusing on its geometrical features. We find that the domain-walls of this model at p=pc ≃ 0.59 are Schramm-Loewner evolution (SLE) curves with κ=3.05 ∓ 0.1 consistent with the Ising universality class. We also numerically show that the fractal dimension of these domain-walls at p=pc is Df ≃ 1.38 consistent with SLEκ=3.
