During the last five decades, interest in High Speed Marine Vehicleshas been increasing for both commercial and military use, leading to newconfgurations and further development of already existing configurations to fill the gap between the low speed ships by high payload capacity to low construction cost, and high speed aircrafts by low payload capacity to high construction cost. Therfore Wing-In-Ground effect crafts (WIG)were introduced as the new marine vehicles family memberwhich have the potential for payload capacities closer to fast marine crafts and the cost of construction is much lower than aircraftswhile they are capablefly close to the water surface. On the whole, in this project,considering to flight most in the ground effect and their ahead challenges, two major issues related to WIG crafts have been studied:1) An overview to WIGs conceptual design by modifying the conventional aircraft conceptual design cycle.2) Longitudinal static and dynamic stability analysis and determination of important stability derivatives and also determination of each conventional design parameters role, on important stability derivatives and dynamic characteristics of the flyingvehicle motion modes, in order to find a dynamic stability criteria according to design parameters and finally enhancement of flying qualities.In the first part,it was triedto study modeling and modifying the process of the conventional aircrafts conceptual design for WIG crafts by implement on a certain case study. In the second part, with the help of the mentioned case study, longitudinal static and dynamic stability of WIG craft by determining important stability derivatives such as ، ، & etc.and their desirable sign and also determination of each conventional design parameters role,on important stability derivatives and dynamic characteristics of the flying vehicle motion modes, in order to find a dynamic stability criteria according to design parameters and finally enhancement of flying qualities were analyzed
