  7. Abstract:
  8. Designing and evaluating the segmented production structures of the production system due to the variety of production systems is one of the important issues that have been considered in recent decade. In this research, the paradigm of designing a segmented production system has been studied to increase the adaptation of the organizational structure of production systems to changing and diverse behavior of the market as well as to increase the responsiveness to demand in the organization. The segmented production system provides production units to small, flexible and decentralized production units. The segmentation process used in this research uses an axiomatic design structure. The segmented production system developed with axiomatic design has been designed based on cloud manufacturing and service composition in this research. The goal is to reduce costs and increase responsiveness and agility of the system. In this architecture, each manufacturing segment is referred to a service in interaction with a central platform. In the five-layer architecture presented in this study, the first layer, which relates to the development of the central platform and user interface and the optimal allocation according to the service composition in the cloud-based segmentation production system is designed. The purpose of using service composition problem is the optimal allocation of activities to the manufacturing segments, with goals such as minimizing cost and time, and limiting such constraints as minimizing the reliability and availability of services. In this research, the integer model of service composition is presented and optimization software is used to solve the exact algorithm. Also, to solve a high-dimensional problem, a local search meta-heuristic algorithm has been used. At the end, the results of the meta-heuristic algorithm are compared with the results of the exact algorithm.
