  7. Abstract:
  8. The aim of this study was to develop a method to determine the trace residual amounts of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in meat-related samples and to study the effect of different cooking methods and storage conditions of meat before cooking as an effective factor on the fate of these drugs. To proceed this goal, a nanocomposite was prepared from polycaprolactone nanofiber/silica mesopores as green sorbent by electrospinning. The synthesized nanocomposite was implemented for micro-solid phase extraction of the desired drugs in conjunction with high performance liquid chromatography. Polycaprolactone, due to its excellent physical properties, availability, biodegradability, biocompatibility and algorithmic capacity has gained many applications. On the other hand, siliceous mesopores have always been considered in various chemical applications due to their high porosity and very large surface area. The combination of these two organic and inorganic polymers provides a stable composite, insoluble in water and inorganic acids, with the possibility of electrospinning. The use of modified silica and the resulting interactions, appropriate sorption properties for the synthesized porous nanofibers were assumed to be observed for simultaneous extraction of salicylic acid, naproxen, ibuprofen, diclofenac, and mefenamic acid. The effective parameters were optimized. The adsorption isotherm, mechanism, kinetic and thermodynamic of NSAIDs on the developed extractive phase in meat samples was also studied. Two dynamic linear intervals of 0.1-400 and 0.5-400 μg L-1 were found for naproxen and salicylic acid, ibuprofen, diclofenac and mefenamic acid, respectively. In this method, the diagnostic limit was in the range of 0.01-0.05 μg L-1 and the precision of the method was in the range of 1.5-3.7%. The method presented in this research made it possible to analyze complex real samples such as meat and Gallina blanca. The recovery results for the selected drugs in meat and Gallina blanca were in the range of 92-103% and 86-111%, respectively
