  7. Abstract:
  8. Researchers have long considered the phenomenon of parametric amplification. This phenomenon is introduced first in nonlinear structures and then in limited systems of time-varying linear structures. Time-modulated systems have many capabilities, such as amplification, non-reciprocity, and other phenomena in wave propagation. So far, time-varying circuits have been studied in terms of stability and analytical solution. The purpose of this project is to investigate parametric amplification in time-varying linear systems. Studying a structure under a circuit model is essential to other analyses practically implemented in various frequency ranges from microwave to light. As a result, this study gives an overview of time-varying linear circuits with first-order and second-order and its analysis methods, such as harmonic balance. Solving and obtaining currents and voltages of the circuit has been calculated in several ways, and the convergence of the responses has also been investigated. The amount of input power amplifying in the structure has been calculated with the obtained solutions, and efforts have been made to increase amplification intensity in the systems. In the end, we conclude that the time-varying linear structures studied in this paper have high power amplification. Especially systems that have resonance in static state, in the dynamic state around their static resonance phenomenon will have parametric amplification and can be used to construct a parametric amplifier
