    , Article International Journal of Hydrogen Energy ; Volume 42, Issue 15 , 2017 , Pages 9428-9439 ; 03603199 (ISSN) Deylaminezhad, M ; Zakipour, M ; Doroodmand, M. M ; Mehrtash, M ; Sharif University of Technology
    Abstract
Hydrogen storage/evolution behavior of nafion/NaCl/graphene quantum dot (GQD) mixed matrix as selective hydrogen capacitor (power source) was evaluated in detail through an electrochemical process at two independent potential ranges. For this purpose, a three-electrode system included Pt disk as counter electrode, Ag/AgCl as reference electrode and GQD-based mixed matrix-modified Pt disk as working electrode. For hydrogen storage, the deposition potential and time were evaluated to −1.0 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) and 120 s, respectively under high basic solution generated using NaOH (1.0 M) solution, followed by evolution of hydrogen at +0.8 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) during formation of hydrogen bubbles. The...

    Abstract
Herein, an electrochemical technique as a cost-effective and one-step approach was utilized to fabricate graphene quantum dots (GQDs). Different amounts of GQDs (0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, and 1.2 wt %) were decorated uniformly on the surface of anodized ZnO nanowires (NWs) forming GQD/ZnO NWs. Transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy confirmed formation of GQDs on the ZnO NWs, 12-22 nm in width and 1-3 graphene layers thick. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy were employed to verify the functional groups on the surface of GQDs, and the results indicated that GQDs readily anchored on the surface of ZnO NWs. The GQD/ZnO NWs exhibited a...

    Abstract
In tissue engineering and nerve cell treatments, biocompatible and conductive substrates are needed to stimulate nerve cells. In this project, we fabricated a composite of polyaniline and gelatin along with metal-organic frameworks and graphene quantum dots, which perform this repair process for us. By conducting UV-Vis and FTIR tests, it was observed that the synthesis of aniline polymer has been achieved successfully. SEM analysis showed that the polymer chains were well formed. The other part of the composite used is MOF (metal-organic...
