    Four nonlinear Model Reference Adaptive Impedance Controllers are introduced, tested, and compared for the control of the robot impedance with uncertainties in model parameters. The intended application area is human-robot interactions (HRI), particularly rehabilitation robots and haptic interfaces. All of the controllers make the closed-loop dynamics of the robot similar to the reference impedance model besides providing asymptotic tracking of the impedance model for the robot end-effector in Cartesian coordinates.     A unified statistical framework for crowd labeling

    This paper surveys methods to aggregate redundant crowd labels in order to estimate unknown true labels. It presents a unified statistical latent model where the differences among popular methods in the field correspond to different choices for the parameters of the model. Moreover, adaptive methods which iteratively collect labels based on the previously collected labels and estimated models will be discussed. In this study, we have designed a therapeutic vaccine based on chitosan nanodelivery systems to deliver HPV-16 E7 DNA vaccine, considered as a tumor specific antigen for immunotherapy of HPV-associated cervical cancer.     Abstract
    Several phantoms have been fabricated for reflection measurements from human tissues in the range of 26.5-40 GHz. For the first time, a novel composition is introduced for fabrication of low-cost simple tissue-equivalent phantoms. The effective medium theory is applied to estimate the dielectric properties of phantoms consisting of polyethylene (PE) powder and the results are verified by dielectric properties measurement on the proposed phantoms. It is shown that mixing theory can estimate the dielectric properties of the PE-based phantoms with minimum error. Therefore, the amount of the ingredients can be estimated theoretically

    An effect-directed analysis (EDA) of fresh and artificially weathered (evaporated, photooxidized) samples of North Sea crude oil and residual heavy fuel oil is presented. The simulation is based on a stochastic lung model, derived from detailed morphometric measurements.     A rapid, convenient and reliable method for microextraction in packed syringe (MEPS) of the loop diuretic furosemide (FUR) in urine along with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was developed. A nanocomposite based on silver nanoparticles/polyaniline (Ag-NPs/PANI) was synthesized and used as the MEPS packing material.
