The fundamental principle behind PBR is that good performance should lead to higher profits, and poor performance should result in lower profits. A penalty-reward structure (PRS) in a PBR mechanism can enhance utility performance to align utility interests with customer's interests.     In this paper, for one-dimensional stochastic linear fractional systems in terms of the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative, the optimal control is derived. It is assumed that the state is completely observable and all the information regarding this is available. The formulation leads to a set of stochastic fractional forward and backward equation in the Riemann-Liouville sense.     The economical operations of power plants and environmental awareness are the major factors affecting the importance of control in boiler-turbine units. In this paper, a multivariable nonlinear model of boiler-turbine unit is considered. Drum pressure, electric output and water level of drum (as output variables) are adjusted at desired values by manipulation of valve positions for fuel, steam and feed-water flow rates (as input variables). Nonlinear dynamics of the unit is investigated through the concepts of bifurcation and limit cycles behaviour.     In this paper, the model of pipe conveying fluid, like marine risers, is modeled with the effect of the interaction between the fluid and structure. A torque is assumed at one end of the pipe to control the vibration of the pipe. The stability of the pipe under time varying disturbance in forced vibration using boundary control law is proved. Exponential stability can be achieved under the free vibration condition. The proposed control law is simple and could be attained by some simple sensors at the end of the pipe.     In this paper, LQG/LTR controller is designed for attitude control of the geostationary satellite at nominal mode. Usage actuator is the reaction wheel and control torque is determined by the LQR regulator. LQR controller signal has good performance, if all states are considered in feedback, but does not include model and sensors noises. Usage sensors are sun and earth sensors and EKF is used for estimation of noisy states.
