    Abstract
    In a previous paper, we obtained the functional form of quantum potential by a quasi-Newtonian approach and without appealing to the wave function. We also described briefly the characteristics ofthis approach to the Bohmian mechanics. In this article, we consider the quantization problem and we show that the 'eigenvalue postulate' is a natural consequence of continuity condition and there is no need for postulating that the spectrum of energy and angular momentum are eigenvalues of their relevant operators. In other words, the Bohmian mechanics predicts the 'eigenvalue postulate'

    Abstract
    This paper addresses the issues of energy efficiency in robotic fish design by use of hydrodynamic models. The use of LighthilPs small-amplitude elongated body theory for designing of robotic fish, obtaining optimal kinematics and dynamic analysis with emphasis on compliant mechanism is presented.     Motivated by security issues in networks, we study the problem of incentive mechanism design for dynamic resource allocation in a multi-agent networked system. Each strategic agent has a private security state which can be safe or unsafe and is only known to him. At every time, each agent faces security threats from outside as well as from his unsafe neighbors. Therefore, the agents’ states are correlated and have interdependent stochastic dynamics. Agents have interdependent valuations, as each agent’s instantaneous utility depends on his own security state as well as his neighbors’ security states.     Abstract
    We study the extent to which decentralized cost-sharing protocols can achieve good price of anarchy (PoA) bounds in network cost-sharing games with nagents. We focus on the model of resource-aware protocols, where the designer has prior access to the network structure and can also increase the total cost of an edge (overcharging), and we study classes of games with concave or convex cost functions. We first consider concave cost functions and our main result is a cost-sharing protocol for symmetric games on directed acyclic graphs that achieves a PoA of 2+ϵ for some arbitrary small positive ϵ, which improves to 1+ϵ for games with at least two players.     We discuss the Bohmian paths of two-level atoms moving in a waveguide through an external resonance-producing field, perpendicular to the waveguide and localized in a region of finite diameter. The time spent by a particle in a potential region is not well-defined in standard quantum mechanics, but it is well defined in Bohmian mechanics. Bohm's theory is used for calculating the average time spent by a transmitted particle inside the field region and the arrival-time distributions at the edges of the field region.     The current study presents a simple and scalable method for the synthesis of (aminomethyl)phosphonic acid-functionalized graphene oxide (AMPA-GO) adsorbent. The chemical structure of the new material was disclosed by different instrumental analyses (e.g. FTIR, Raman, XPS, AFM, TEM, XRD, CHN, and UV), and two pertinent mechanisms namely nucleophilic substitution and condensation were suggested for its formation.     Abstract
    In Spatial Voting Theory, distortion is a measure of how good the winner is. It has been proved that no deterministic voting mechanism can guarantee a distortion better than 3, even for simple metrics such as a line. In this study, we wish to answer the following question: How does the distortion value change if we allow less motivated agents to abstain from the election? We consider an election with two candidates and suggest an abstention model, which is a general form of the abstention model proposed by Kirchgässner. Our results characterize the distortion value and provide a rather complete picture of the model. ©2021 AI Access Foundation

    Abstract
    Thermodynamics of extraction of Zn2+ from sulfuric acid media contacting to a mixture of DEHPA and MEHPA diluted with 80 wt% aromatic - aliphatic kerosene with a constant DEHPA to MEHPA ratio is investigated at different acidities, concentrations and temperatures. As a result, the extraction reaction is found to be endothermic with a zinc distribution factor that increases with increasing of the temperature, acidity of the solution and the concentration of the extradant. The mechanism of the extraction reaction is shown to be different for pH > 1 with that at pH <1. The pH of the aqueous media has also an important influence on progressing of the extraction reaction

    In this study, effect of MAPE (maleic anhydride polyethylene) as the compatibilizer on the mechanical properties of wood-flour polyethylene composites has been investigated by using Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA). Composites were made at 25% and 50% by weight fiber contents and 1% and 2% compatibilizer respectively. Controls were also made at the same fiber contents without the compatibilizer. Static mechanical tests including tensile and bending tests were performed. Temperature scans in the range of- 110 to +100°C was also conducted.     Abstract
    In the present paper, employing compression experiments for three grades of low carbon steel, the effects of deformation condition and chemical composition on the occurrence of dynamic strain ageing are studied. Also, based on the achieved results, the flow behavior of steels under warm deformation conditions is predicted for the employed steels. The results show that both chromium and niobium postpone the happening of serrated flow and shifts the serrated flow region to lower temperatures in comparison with low carbon steel, while the activation energy for commencing dynamic strain ageing increases. © 2003 Elsevier Science B.V.
