    Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) is a historical and long-time-used approach for masking various kinds of faults. By employing redundancy and analyzing the results of three separate executions of the same program, TMR is able to attain excellent levels of reliability. While TMR provides a desirable level of reliability, it suffers from the high power consumption of the redundant hardware, a severe detriment to its broad adoption.     ARX algorithms are a class of symmetric-key algorithms constructed by Addition, Rotation, and XOR, which achieve the best software performances in low-end microcontrollers. To evaluate the resistance of an ARX cipher against differential cryptanalysis and its variants, the recent automated methods employ constraint satisfaction solvers, such as SMT solvers, to search for optimal characteristics.     Given the importance and complexity of the three-dimensional (3D) neutron transport equation solution, in the current research, a new Modular Ray Tracing (MRT) Algorithm and 3D characteristic kernel for heterogeneous structures are presented. Improvement of memory management and cache coherency are achieved to some acceptable level.     Recently, the trade-off between power consumption and fault tolerance in embedded processors has been highlighted. This paper proposes an approach to reduce dynamic power of conventional high-level fault-tolerant techniques used in the register file of processors, without affecting the effectiveness of the fault-tolerant techniques. The power reduction is based on the reduction of dynamic power of the unaccessed parts of the register file.     The Dual-Arm Cam-Lock (DACL) robot manipulators are reconfigurable arms formed by two parallel cooperative manipulators. Some of their joints may lock into each other.     Abnormalities in the topology of brain networks may be an important feature and etiological factor for psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES). To explore this possibility, we applied a graph theoretical approach to functional networks based on resting state EEGs from 13 PNES patients and 13 age- and gender-matched controls.     In the present work, a micro combustor for thermophotovoltaic (TPV) devices is proposed which is included a U-shaped microtube in a box with a secondary fluid in space between U-shaped microtube and box walls. By utilizing the three-dimensional CFD model, combustion characteristics of the premixed lean hydrogen-air mixture in the present micro combustor are studied numerically with detailed chemistry and transport taking into account heat transfer through the wall.     This paper proposes a method to suboptimally tune the control parameters in a conventional Lyapunov-Based method which shares the same concept of control design with sliding mode approach as applied to the robot manipulators. Optimal tuning of such parameters involves handling of nonlinearities in system dynamics and cost functions, which makes the problem challenging.
