    Peppermint oil is one of the most often used food ingredients and it is volatile. Many common procedures such as microencapsulation have been used for protecting volatile food ingredients. For this research, L-menthol was chosen as the core material to be encapsulated. L-menthol is responsible for the minty flavor and cooling sensation of food and pharmaceutical products.     Abstract
    In this paper, a new algorithm for solving the shortest loop design problem is presented. The shortest loop design problem is to find the shortest loop for an automated guided vehicle covering at least one edge of each department of a block layout. In this paper, first it is shown that this problem can be represented as a graph model. The properties of the presented model enable us to design a meta-heuristic based on ant colony system algorithm for solving the shortest loop design problem. Computational results show the efficiency of our algorithm in compare to the other techniques

    Abstract
    In a series of articles, Asbjorn Steglich-Petersen and Nick Zangwill argue that, since propositional attitude (PA) ascription judgements do not behave like normative judgements in being subject to a priori normative supervenience and the Because Constraint, PAs cannot be constitutively normative.1 I argue that, for a specific version of normativism, according to which PAs are normative commitments, these arguments fail. To this end, I argue that commitments and obligations should be distinguished. Then, I show that the intuitions allegedly governing all normative judgements do not even purport to hold for commitment-attributing judgements. Copyright © Canadian Philosophical Association 2020

    One technique to reduce variance of output in comparing two or more systems via simulation is random number synchronization. the primary technique for achieving synchronization is to assign an independent seed to each random process and then use the same collection of seeds across all systems . Another way of synchronization in systems with limited customer population is to assign different seed to each customer (transaction) and then use the same collection of seeds across all systems.     Scouring Contol by Submerged Vanes at 90° Open-Channel Junctions

    In this study, the effect of submerged vanes on the bed scouring and deposition pattern at a 90̊ open-channel junction was investigated. First, the bed formation without submerged vanes were studied under the effect of hydraulic variables like the discharge ratio of tributary to main channel and the ratio of mean approach velocity to the threshold velocity. The results show that scour holes enlarge with time while they move towards the downstream and the outer wall in the main channel.     The main goal of this thesis is to verify real-time properties of timed coordinated systems specified by timed-Reo circuits using the model checking techniqe. We use Timed Buchi Automata of Records (TBAR) as the semantics of timed-Reo. The model checking is done by converting Timed Buchi Automata of Records to an extension of Timed Automata that are usingas input of UPPAAL tool. We introduce a writer-automaton, which is synchronous with the desired Timed Automata, for initializing input ports. A tool that transforms Timed Buchi Automata of Records to UPPAAL Timed Automata has been implemented.     Abstract
    Neglecting actuator dynamics in control of rigid manipulators can degrade performance and stability of the system. However, consideration of actuator dynamics usually requires measurement of joint torque or armature currents. In this paper, we present an adaptive controller for motion tracking of an n-DOF manipulator without using joint torque measurement. Semi-global convergence of motion and torque tracking errors to zero is proven. We show that the use of non-minimal representation of manipulator dynamics significantly simplifies its linear parametrization. Simulation example shows that avoiding joint torque measurement reduces system sensitivity to sensor failure and noise

    In this research, four N2O2–azacrown macrocyclic ligands with naphthalene pendant arms (L1-L4) were synthesized using direct synthesis. The products were characterized applying 1H and 13C {1H} NMR spectroscopy, IR and Mass spectrometry. Interaction of these ligands with [60]fullerene and Cu(II) were monitored respectively by fluorescent as well as UV-vis spectroscopy and applying Benesi-Hildebrand equation.
