  7. Abstract:
  8. In this research, the physical structure of road transportation networks in Asia, Europe and Africa has been analyzed. With the analyses done in this research, we will recognize these networks and different combinations related to them. Paying more attention to existing transportation situations in mentioned geographical boundary will smooth the way to analyze and evaluate the development of business and carrying goods between the countries of these continents. In this research networks called Asia-Europe-Africa, AEA, are made which are recognized as road AEA networks and rail AEA networks according to basis transportation way available in them. These networks are made of three continental sub networks and by considering transportation relationship between them in road and sea transport, connected networks are defined. Some indices are defined and calculated according to graph theory to analyze mentioned network and sub network's structures. In this research the analysis is mostly about accessibility, connectivity and their related indices which are expressed in two ways: topologic and metric. According to these indices and other used indicators, proper field is made to analyze and evaluate AEA networks in entire network, continental networks and nodes and links of networks. Between sub networks in AEA network, by calculating different parameters, it is specified that Europe road and rail networks have better accessibility and connectivity. Higher structural quality of road networks and sub networks than rail networks and sub networks is one of the other results of this research
