  7. Abstract:
  8. Holography is a lensless process with a unique characteristic of recording a 3D image on a 2D plate! From the first hologram constructed by Gabor, the development of holography found several techniques. For the aim of fabricating holograms of Sharif University of Technology, International Campus-Kish Island’logo, we have chosen transmission and rainbow techniques because of their accuracy and applicability. A recording material is needed for the process. Photoresist was found more appropriate to work on. Besides He-Cd and He-Ne lasers are mostly in use in general holography. The laboratory work is an inseparable part which is achieved at laser and hologram unit of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. After initial design with Maya, patterning has done with Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw. Using a 〖co〗_2 CNC machine the models lasercut and the process of transmission and rainbow holography of S.U.T, Intl logo performed at Holography, Chemistry and Electroforming laboratories. The thesis describe the processes from the initial steps of design to the last part of fabrication and also using MATLAB simulate a three-dimensional sampled form of logo and present optimized fringes form (the intereference pattern( with the benefition of a coherent optical processing (Vanderlugt filter) and also reconstruct it after proposing the simulation of optical elements and incoherent sine and cosine holograms of SUT. Optomechatronics is an interdisciplinary science which merges Mechanics, Electronics and Optics. The mechatronics modeling of typical transmission holographic process surveyed and bondgraph and governing equations presented, after the equivalent mechtronic models of optic elements extracted.
