  7. Abstract:
  8. It is more than a century to study qualitative and quantitative behavior of structures against earthquakes will be benefited from laboratory studies. In fact, the best method for observing the behavior of a structure during an earthquake is earthquake simulation on the structure. Today, the most effective way to do these tests is simulating of earthquake by using of Shaking Table. The shaking table consists of three main parts: electronic, hydraulic and mechanical. The accuracy of earthquake simulation’s results are very important. In recent years, numerous studies on the dynamic behavior of the above components and the interactions between these components are performed. In this study, we attempt to overview on the studies which were publish in last years on behavior of shaking table, and express the weakness and fault of shaking table’s performance, then we start to study on these weakness and fault for shaking table of SHARIF University of Technology. In this study, at first we focus on Control Systems and Servo-hydraulic Systems of sharif’s shaking table, then the system will compare with the best of them in the world. By using experimental results, and MATLAB software proceed to calculate the resonant frequency of the oil column will have to complete a certificate of shaking table of University. Dynamic model of shaking table of sharif earned, and finally using the finite element model and ABAQUS software to study the elastic behavior of the steel deck, and by study the error of the elastic behavior of steel deck ( not solid behavior), evaluate the performance of shaking table’s deck. Also, to perfect performance under peak loads, we have proposed a cross chassis. At the end, elastic behavior of cross chassis have also been studied
