  7. Abstract:
  8. ECO region is perched near to three main energy sources, namely, Russia, Persian Gulf, and Caspian Sea. In this regards, the ECO members consider their co-operation in three directions, namely Trade, Energy, and Transportation, as their main priority. The main strategy of the ECO organization in energy issue is twofold: 1) to speed-up the optimum usage of energy sources with minimal cost and, 2) enables access to each other's markets and also to the international market. In fact, the energy producer countries as well as the energy transferor countries, both have a close role in the process of production and proffering. The increased dimensions and complexity of inter-related energy system necessitate the collection and preparation of required information to be able to make right decisions in time for long-term. The energy system development and also the accountability to diverse questions regarding the energy policy decision process, both call for the importance of systematically investigating the energy system. This requires the use of a suitable evaluation tool. Based on the above points, the aim of this project is to utilize the ECO-Energy model for the purpose of evaluating the integrated energy system in the ECO region. This model is provided by the primary information such as investigation cost, historical capacities of countries’ energy production and transferor … to calculate the optimum energy production and transferor of each country with minimal cost. It is reported that the gas reservations of Pakistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the oil reservations of Turkmenistan, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan will end by 2050. This report also shows that by the end of 2050, Iran with about 3054 million barrels crude oil reservations and about 1792 milliard cubic meter natural gas reservations will stand first in the ECO region
