  8. Maintenance is one of the most important factors increating an efficient and stable structure intheindustry. Therefore, having an efficient and effective system in this case is very important. In this regard, the Preventive Maintenance Program is considered asone of the most important factors in the productivity and efficiency of machines and manpower.Therefore, designing this system forthemachining zone of Iran Khodro Peugeot 405 Engine Manufacturing hall # 2can have further Improvement In the Efficiency of the plant.
    The project was carriedout through the following steps:
    - Research and data collection
    - Classifying and organizing
    - Implementation
    In the first step studies was performed abutpreventive maintenance and required data collected from various sources such as books and technical documents existing in Iran Khodro archive Center and engine manufacturing departmentAlso, talking to the skilled people working in these units and visiting different factories of Iran KhodroCompany. Meanwhile, available machine data including manuals and maps examineddespitehaving many defects.
    The next step was to organize the information as it could be used to design the systemthat was focused on the preparation, implementation, monitoring and progress headlines. In the final step the necessary forms provided considering previous cases, the relationships definedand all the forms were completed that will be presented at the end of this project
