  7. Abstract:
  8. Using a combination of groundwater and surface water, is defined as each project planned by combining these two sources which, in most cases, will achieve greater benefits than the non-integrated. The benefit is a set of privileges that technically, economically and environmentally justify the project. One of the prevalent and effective problems of fertile and flat plains of Khuzestan province, especially the Evan plain, is lack of proper drainage of agricultural land downstream of dams and irrigation networks which are covered by. In this plain also, according to statistics from Piezometers, the groundwater level is rising. At the first, the aim of this study is to study the current situation and develop an up to date model to assess the condition of the aquifer and the water table of plain. In the next step, according to the simulation results, the model calibrated and after validating the results, the solutions are predicted for 4 next year and in different scenarios, in order to achieve a balancing in budget and controlling rising water level in the plain. Modification of the current irrigation system of plain and improve its efficiency, increase utilization of existing wells in the plain, the construction a number of virtual wells in the area or a combination of the above scenarios, are the most important strategies that have been examined in this study. Finally, and after extracting the results, while the hydrologic situation of region over the next 4 years is similar to the last year, producing models with the aim of stabilizing the rise in water level in the low land of plain and control the budget, the scenario which combined of developing the irrigation network and increasing the exploitation of existing wells in the plain by 25%, present the best efficiency in term of controlling the intended parameters. In the second condition, and in a situation which the plain faces with the most severe drought in the recent haft century, again, the scenario, which combined of developing the irrigation network and increasing the exploitation of existing wells in the plain by 19%, can be the best solution to achieve the above goals
