Abstract:
This thesis is focused on designing material and experiments to evaluate listeners’ ability in perception of consonants. The ability to identify a consontant against another consonant which differs from the fist one in just one single acoustic-phonetic feature is considered. We have also examined the influence of the context in perception as the material is designed in prevoweol- post-v and within-v contexts. A software is designed and have been used to evaluated patients with normal people. Our main acheivements are listed below
