  8. Designing a part of an on site repair system for refurbishing steam turbine high pressure control valve has been done in this project. The main role of this control valve is to control the input flow to the turbine in different working condition . However, due to high temperature and pressure, the seat is exposed to erosion. R epairing this part in workshop requires great amount of time and cost, because the valve is a part of the turbine body and must be cut and rewelded to the turbine body. S o using an on-site repair method is highly needed. In addition, due to the limited visibility and access to the valve seat, and accurate dimensional and geometrical tolerance, it is not easy to repair the valve by manual processes. A preliminary design of the system offers four main modules . The first part extracts the valve damaged profile, the next part, does the initial machining, creating the proper welding accessor. The third part fills the machined groovs and cavitis with welding, and finally with final machining the initial surface is generated. All the stages of the designing has been completed in the project. Design of machining equipment of this system is covered in this projects. the system is then analysed to make sure the cutter vibrations are within the acceptable limit and that the finished surface has the proper dimensional tolerances
