  8. The system considered on this structure is for the design on mid-high Buildings from 15 and 20 floors above the base level and n floors below the base level and the limitation of the number of floors is due to the computer facility and restrictions. There is going to be an irregularity in some chosen floor at lower-floor, mid-floor, or upper-floor which is assuming one floor from the structure to have a different height with respect to the others. The height of the considered floor is going to increase up to 25% with respect to the other floors and the design of outriggers with these three assumptions is going to be assessed separately. In this system, a central core of steel is constructed and the peripheral main columns are to be connected by truss-like structures called outrigger structures. The sub-columns are to be connected to the central core by the use of deep beam girders or Belt Braced Structure. The Belt Braced Structure is to be jointed to the sub-columns at a level equal to the peripheral columns connected to the central core. The use of outrigger structures on high buildings is to maximize the stiffness of the columns and also to maximize the required flexural stiffness and shear stiffness, but outrigger structures have no effect on increasing the shear strength of the structure and therefore the shear strength is to be carried out by the central cores. Unlike shear-wall and beams, horizontal and vertical trusses cannot overcome a single parameter of the stiffness because of the occurrence of racking shear. The outrigger structure system takes at least one floor or more so that it can maintain the required stiffness for the structure.
