  7. Abstract:
  8. Multi core processors are becoming mainstream in the computation area, wide application of multi core processors in Engineering, Industrial purposes and scientific applications made them popular among users and Manufacturers, cloud computing is a very well known Concept which technically is a Multicore processing environment, most of Businesses, enterprises and engineering works nowadays are getting done by the help of cloud services, hence, to get the best of these multi core cloud computing systems, scheduling of the tasks on the cores and virtual machines(VMs) is necessary, which is the answer to two questions: each task must be assigned to which core(VM)? And What is the order of assigned tasks to the cores? Lots of approaches had been employed to solve this kind of problems like: Branch and bound method, ILP, Constraint programming and Heuristics. Since Multi core processors scheduling is a NP-hard problem therefore it should be tackled by Heuristics The purpose sought in this Research is to find and develop an algorithm in which to find the answers of aforementioned questions in a way that the total completion time so called the “Makespan” minimizes. In the first step problem definition will be conducted, the objective function will be defined. A brief introduction to scheduling will be explained, different Approaches and Methods will be explained similar works in the literature will be covered. A new algorithm will be developed and a comparison between the previous related work and new algorithm will be conducted
