  7. Abstract:
  8. With high power conversion efficiency, comparable to silicon solar cells, the conventional perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are leading the photovoltaic research scene. However, they have poor stability in operation due to instability of organic-inorganic hybrid PSCs. Several methods have been proposed to improve their stability including Substitution of the organic component by an inorganic one For example, inorganic perovskite compound such as 〖 CsPbI〗_3 with bandgap about 1.7 eV is a good candidate. However, it requires high synthesis temperature (about 300 ℃), and the resulting cell has a lower efficiency than the organic one. Introduction of Cs, as an inorganic element, into organic perovskite in the form of mixed cation not only reduces the synthesis temperature, but also improves stability of the perovskite. Further improvement of photovoltaic performance of the device can be achieved by mixed hybrid halide perovskites. Therefore, we prepared a mixed cation and halide perovskite with Cs_x 〖(MA_0.17 〖〖FA〗_0.83)〗_(100-X)〗_ 〖Pb(〖Br〗_0.17 I_0.83)〗_3 composition in this work. UV-Vis, SEM, PL and XRD analyses were used to study the physical properties of the samples, while the photovoltaic characteristics of the cells was investigated by voltage-current curves for 30 days. Solar cells with mixed cation containing (MA, FA and Cs) and hybrid halide containing (I and Br) showed better optical properties and absorption compared to the reference cell of MAPbI3 due to improved morphology. The, reference PSC exhibited efficiency of 8.47% in the first day with 50% decrease in efficiency after 7 days, and a complete perovskite decomposition in 2 weeks. The mixed cation and halide device had efficiency of 10.78% in the first day, 11.55% in the third day and 1% decrease in efficiency for 30 days
