- Abstract:
- In recent years, the penetration of renewable energy sources (RESs) in the distribution networks has faced their operation with new problems. Therefore, many studies have been conducted in this field to effectively operate distribution networks by introducing multi-microgrid (MG) structures, decentralized management methods, and the concept of transactive energy. In this regard, in this thesis, a decentralized structure based on the transactive energy is presented for optimal management of the distribution network using the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) with taking the technical limitations into account. As a result, MGs will be able to exchange energy directly with each other with maintaining their privacy. In this structure, the pricing of energy exchanged between MGs is done dynamically in the market algorithm. In addition, distributionally robust optimization (DRO) method is used to handle the uncertainty of RESs. In this method the Wasserstein metric (WM) is used for construction of the ambiguity set of unknown probability distributions (PDs). Furthermore, a novel method is presented to model reliability as cost terms in objective function of each MG. Also, a comparison between the operation cost of the DRO approach and stochastic programming (SP) method has been made in order to investigate their performance differences in the uncertainty modeling. To increase the security of the peer-to-peer (P2P) energy market, a two-step algorithm has been presented to identify communication errors and misbehavior of MGs mitigate the convergence problems of the P2P market divergence. Finally, the proposed scheme is implemented on IEEE 37-bus-test –network to evaluate its effectiveness
