  7. Abstract:
  8. Any factor that causes an additional pressure drop to the reservoir is called damage. Damages due to drilling, well completion and production can cause additional pressure drop to formation. In this study, damage caused by mechanical damage, well deviation from vertical (angled well), partially completed well and horizontal well and formation damage behavior during the occurrence of water and gas coning phenomenon have been investigated by simulation and the results have been verified with the analytical models available for calculating the formation skin factor. Also, by studying and examining the data and the results obtained from the simulation of the horizontal well skin factor in a data analysis software, a new analytical relationship with appropriate accuracy has been presented to determine and calculate the skin factor in the horizontal well
