  7. Abstract:
  8. In this research, cotton fabric modified with polyamidoamine dendrimer was prepared by chemical method and in order to increase the extraction efficiency of cotton fabric. Before modifying the fabric with dendrimer, an activation step of the functional groups of the fabric was performed by (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane. The prepared adsorbent was used in thin film microextraction of Anthracene, Fenthion, p,p'-DDT, BBP and Tetradifon along with Gas chromatography-Mass spectrometer. To obtain the maximum efficiency of the synthesized adsorbent, the parameters of pH, type of desorption solvent, volume of desorption solvent, desorption time and extraction time were optimized. The dynamic linear range of the developed method for p,p'-DDT, Tetradifon, Fenthion, BBP and Anthracene was obtained in the range of 0.1-600, 0.7-800, 0.3-750, and 0.1-550 μg L-1 respectively. The detection limit was 0.03, 0.2, 0.1 and 0.03 μg L-1, respectively. The limit of quantification was 0.1, 0.7, 0.3 and 0.1 μg L-1, respectively. Relative standard deviation values for this method were obtained in the range of 3.3-7.3%. The developed method for thin layer microextraction of investigated compounds was validated in soil and water samples and the relative recovery percentage for two concentration levels of 10 and 100 μg L-1 was obtained in the range of 75-101%
