  8. The supplier selection problem is considered as one of the most strategic and critical issues for any organization. This issue is mainly relevant to traditional and manufacturing businesses. However, if we examine its relationship with the emerging concept of Vendor Acquisition, which has become increasingly significant in modern businesses and startups, the importance of supplier selection becomes even greater. Today, choosing the right supplier or vendor determines the level of success organizations achieve in any new project, and the performance of vendors plays a crucial role in shaping and directing these projects. This study aims to present a comprehensive framework for supplier selection that considers three key dimensions: supply risk, environmental performance, and financial performance. The framework is designed to be inclusive while avoiding unnecessary complexity. In supplier selection problems, multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods are commonly used. However, due to the high adaptability of fuzzy-based methods to MCDM approaches, supplier selection problems are generally categorized into three types:
    1. Problems based on pure MCDM methods
    2. Problems based on pure fuzzy MCDM methods
    3. Hybrid problems
    In the framework proposed in this study, suppliers’ financial performance falls under the first category, environmental performance under the second, and supply risk performance under the third. Therefore, it can be claimed that this framework is both comprehensive and exclusive.
