  7. Abstract:
  8. In water service processes, tubular heat exchangers are commonly used to provide a heat transfer medium for cooling or heating of which both are subject to fouling of heat transfer surfaces. The deposit would dominantly build up in form of fouling, crystallization, and or particulate fouling depending on the operating and surface conditions. This, in turn, may result in more demand for excessive energy consumption due to higher pumping requirements, as well as for offsetting the impact of fouling. Introducing the subject of the on-line condenser tube cleaning system as a most effective way of encountering with deposits and its components, the difficulties encountered during operation and exploring various design modifications observed treated as a thesis major goal. On the other hand with the help of some statistical magnitudes try to demonstrate the positive impact of online cleaning system, while in the next step of this thesis will be focus on modification of this method in case of type of sponge rubber balls while they are playing a main role in Online Cleaning System as a cleaning factor, or even connection between interval of balls injection and cleanliness. The movement of the ball in the tubes for this clean purpose will be simulated and compared with experimental data obtained from a simple laboratory model built for this project
