  7. Abstract:
  8. Old urban texture has always been one of the concerns of Government due to its high extent and vulnerability. In recent decades, various programs have been implemented to improve and develop old urban texture. According to experts in this field, the government has faced many challenges in old urban texture development projects in recent years, some of which have caused the project to deviate from its first purpose or not be fully implemented. One of the most important challenges in this field, according to the multiple stakeholders, has been the proper stakeholders management. In this research, a framework based on building information modeling is presented to develop old urban texture. In this regard, a framework has been designed to improve the interaction between stakeholders in addition to responding to identified risks by identifying the capabilities of building information modeling, including visualization, and the challenges and risks of old urban texture development. Also, the three existing contracts has been modified based on this framework to develop of old urban texture. The capabilities of the framework have been implemented in a residential project in old urban texture as a case study and evaluated by the opinions of experts in this field
