    DIDO behavioral model extraction setup using uncorrelated envelope signals

    Abstract
    This work discusses several extraction procedures for the recently proposed dual input-dual output (DIDO) low pass equivalent behavioral model according to their required excitation signals. These methods are based on passive load pulling and uncontrolled open loop active load pulling but with different type of excitation waveforms. It also addresses the hardware and signal conditioning of the proposed extraction procedures in detail. The performance of the discussed methods are compared based on the datasets extracted from simulation results in ADS. The results show that the use of the active load-pulling can enhance modeling performance

    This paper presents a double input-double output bilateral low-pass equivalent amplifier behavioral model that takes into account input source and output load termination mismatches. The model is intended for the system-level simulation of amplifier chains subjected to wideband modulated signals, since it can predict the device's input and output scattered waves and their memory effects, in a wide range of voltage standing wave ratios (VSWR).     Abstract
    In real world social networks, there are multiple cascades which are rarely independent. They usually compete or cooperate with each other. Motivated by the reinforcement theory in sociology we leverage the fact that adoption of a user to any behavior is modeled by the aggregation of behaviors of its neighbors. We use a multidimensional marked Hawkes process to model users product adoption and consequently spread of cascades in social networks. The resulting inference problem is proved to be convex and is solved in parallel by using the barrier method.     This paper investigated the headway distribution of platooning vehicles in work zones with and without automated Speed Photo Enforcement (SPE). Data from two work zones were collected and analyzed. The portion of vehicles traveling with a very short headway (less than 0.7 sec) was also examined. In addition, the behavior of vehicles near the law enforcement vehicles was analyzed in terms of applying brakes and changing lane in one of the work zones. The results indicated that the mean headway of cars in the median lane significantly increased in both work zones when the SPE van was present compared to the base condition.     Abstract
    We present a novel deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) model for predicting human behavior in repeated games. The model is the first deep neural network presented on repeated games that is able to be trained on games with arbitrary size of payoff matrices. Our neural network takes the players’ payoff matrices and the history of the play as input, and outputs the predicted action picked by the first player in the next round. To evaluate the model’s performance, we apply it to some experimental games played by humans and measure the rate of correctly predicted actions.     This work presents a behavioral model for non-ideal effects in a novel Hybrid time-interleaved digital to analog converter (TIDAC). In Hybrid DACs, both ΔΣ and Nyquist structures are used. In this work, in the Nyquist path, the 2-time-interleaving technique is used and in the ΔΣ path, a new structure is proposed to reduce the critical path in the TI delta-sigma modulator (DSM).     There are relatively few comprehensive studies on driving errors and violations in Iran, a non-Western country with a high traffic fatality rate. In this study, 712 drivers completed a questionnaire at technical inspection centres and carwashes in Tehran, Iran. Respondents were asked about their demographic characteristics, accident involvement, traffic fines, and driving aberrations in the form of the Driver Behaviour Questionnaire (DBQ).     Minimum entropy control technique, an approach for controlling chaos without using the dynamical model of the system, can be improved by being combined with a nature-based optimization technique. In this paper, an ACO-based optimization algorithm is employed to minimize the entropy function of the chaotic system. The feedback gain of a delayed feedback controller is adjusted in the ACO algorithm.     This paper uses singular value decomposition (SVD) for studying the dynamic properties of fatigue-loaded intervertebral disc. Previously, this problem had been addressed using mathematical models of using mass, spring and damper or based on poroelastic theory.
