    The morphology of symmetric and asymmetric membranes obtained by precipitation can be rationalized by thermodynamic and kinetic parameters. Such parameters which the former relates to thermodynamic effect and the latter controls the time of separation of the cast solution film immersing in the non-solvent bath from the glass plate were calculated as dimensionless parameters for further analysis.     Abstract
    In this paper a sub-optimal control technique is proposed for a linear Gaussian system with a few distributed interacting sub-systems. Controller of each sub-system has only access to its own measurement and a noisy version of measurement and control vectors of other sub-systems that are communicated through an Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) communication network. The power to be allocated to each transmitter antenna is calculated so that the received signal is the transmitted signal plus additive white Gaussian noise.     This research investigates the effect of process parameters on the geometry and properties of In625 parts, manufactured by the direct laser metal deposition (DLMD) process. For this purpose, eight parts, consisting of 5 layers on top of each other, were manufactured, and the effect of laser power, laser focal plane position, and scanning speed on the height, width, and surface smoothness of each of them was investigated using design of experiment (DOE). The aim of this research is to develop an appropriate kinetic mechanism for dehydrogenation of propane over an industrial Pt–Sn/γ-Al2O3 catalyst in the presence of a very small amount of water. It is assumed that the CSI is partially known at each encoder noncausally. We first present an achievable rate region using multi-layer Gelfand-Pinsker coding with partial state and message cooperation between the encoders. We then specialize our result to a Gaussian GMAC with additive interferences that are known partially at each encoder.     In this paper, we investigate the impact of the electromagnetic scattering caused by other objects in nonfree space on the time-averaged force exerted upon a Rayleigh particle, which is conventionally referred to as the backaction effect. We show that backaction modifies the gradient force, radiation pressure, and spin curl force exerted upon Rayleigh particles, and gives rise to an additional force term which stems from the gradient of the backaction field in nonfree space.
