    The potential of carbon-based nanosheet membranes with functionalized pores is great as water treatment membranes. Using the molecular dynamic simulation technique, the dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) separation from the water/DMSO binary solution is investigated, and the functionalized graphene nanosheets are used as a membrane. This membrane was functionalized by –F (fluorine) and –H (hydrogen) functional groups. For the separation of DMSO, external hydrostatic pressures up to 100 MPa were applied to the considered systems.     In this paper, we introduce a novel approach based on Tucker Decomposition and quasi-periodic nature of ECG signal for fetal ECG extraction from abdominal ECG mixture. We adapt variable periodicity constraint of the ECG components to main objective function of the Tucker Decomposition and shape it to matrix form in order to simply optimize the objective function. We form a 3rd order tensor by stacking the mixed multichannel ECG and reconstructed fetal and maternal subspaces using BSS methods in order to have the benefit of further artificial observations, and apply our proposed penalized decomposition on it.     Preparation and characterization of novel Ag3VO4/Cu-MOF/rGO heterojunction for photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants

    Abstract
    Cu-based metal organic framework/rGO was used as an effective cocatalyst to synthesis novel Ag3VO4/Cu-MOF/rGO nanocomposite. The resulting photocatalysts were characterized by different microscopic and spectroscopic methods. The photocatalytic degradation studies on acid blue 92 showed that Ag3VO4/Cu-MOF/rGO nanocomposite indicated significant improved activity compared with pure Ag3VO4 and Cu-MOF/rGO. The improved photocatalytic activity of nanocomposite was attributed to the increased surface area and effective charge carrier separation and transport in the nanocomposite. © 2019 Elsevier Ltd

    In this extended summary, our aim is analyzing functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data by independent component analysis (ICA) in order to find regions of brain which were activated by neural activity in human brain. We employ the minimum description length (MDL) criterion to reduce the dimension of the data and estimate the number of components, which makes ICA work more efficiently. We also use a simple oscillating index method to select automatically the components of interest.     Transitional boundary layer over an airfoil in the combined pitch-plunge oscillating motions at low Reynolds number is experimentally investigated. The study is based on the data obtained from both surface hot-film and surface static pressure.     The present study demonstrates HEMA-grafted nanodiamond (ND-HEMA)/acrylate-terminated polyurethane-acrylate diluents (APUA) composites as promising materials for bone implant applications. Neat APUA and APUA composites containing ND-HEMA at different loadings up to 2 wt% were prepared by an in situ polymerization method. Morphological analysis demonstrated that ND-HEMAs were actually in the form of tightly bound aggregates which led to formation of big agglomerates at a concentration of 2 wt%.     The Adomian Decomposition Method is employed in the solution of the two dimensional laminar boundary layer of Falkner-Skan equation for wedge. This work aims at the solution of momentum equation in the case of accelerated flow and decelerated flow with separation. The Adomian Decomposition Method is provided an analytical solution in the form of an infinite power series. The effect of Adomian polynomials terms is considered on accuracy of the results.
