  8. In the modern world of software engineering, software evaluation has earned a special position. The presence of consultation companies in evaluating the software will confirm this specialty. Web technology, as a new trend in computer science, has attracted the attention of many researchers and practitioners. As known nowadays, most of the software solutions are Web-based. Such software is technically called Web application. The methods of evaluating Web application include the use of traditional metrics in software engineering. The intelligence of the Web in computer science has been the core of much research.
    This study is intended to use intelligence, as one of the new features of the Web, to evaluate Web applications. Shahid Beheshti Medical University’s Web portal was selected as an experiment environment, where we examine our solution. Figuring out the existing solutions in order to evaluate the Web application based on its intelligence and also to select a solution whose basis is probability theory is among the considerations in this study. Converting the intelligence of a Web into a real probability number (0~1) can be an instrumental method to compare two Web applications conveniently. The results of this study are: presenting a new evaluation method of Web applications based on the new characteristic of the Web (Web Intelligence) as well as comparing this method through calculating the Function Point
