  7. Abstract:
  8. One of the important issues in the fundamental physics is the arrow of time. According to the fundamental theories, motion is symmetry with respect to the passage of time while on a macroscopic level time has direction. In the macroscopic models the arrow of time is provided by the Second Law of Thermodynamics. The thermodynamic arrow is often linked to the cosmological arrow of time, because it is ultimately about the boundary conditions of the early universe.Recently people have tried to suppose this challenge as a fundamental issue and use this as fundamental assumption in their theories.A number of models have attempted to solve the problem based on the concept of information. Interpretations and perceptions of information is different. Some people believe that this is fundamental and some people consider it as consequent of other principles. Some groups consider it as Observer-dependence and others as Observer- independent. For using the information concept we need the exact meaning and scope of the validity and ultimately make it quantity We have shown that a consistent and comprehensive model to derive the macroscopic arrow of time is not offered yet. Furthermore, we have tried to provide ideas and address this challenge based on the redefinition of the some fundamental concepts. One of the challenges that has been raised about the arrow of time at a macroscopic level is the Maxwell's demon paradox. Maxwell's demon is a thought experiment created by the physicist James Clerk Maxwell to "show that the Second Law of Thermodynamics has only a statistical certainty". In this thesis we have tried to look at the different aspects of this issue. Unlike other justifications we have tried to preserve the arrow of time at a more fundamental level, beyond the level observed.
Finally, we focused on the "information" concept at the macroscopic and microscopic level. In this section we reviewed and analyzed different models and suggested a quantitative model of the information theory
