- Abstract:
- CIM includes major components with different performances, although in last decades any researchers starting a way to high level of integration in these functions. Process planning and scheduling are two tasks of manufacturing that searches have not paid attention to them. In the other word there is a good environment for integration studies but researchers didn’t find best approach for integrating these two tasks. The proposed approach can quickly integrate these two functions and be implemented in a company without working process planning and scheduling departments separately. This methodology consists of four main modules that introduced in detail in this study. They are Integrated Resources Module (IRM) and Process Plan Extraction Module (PPEM), Schedule Planning Module(SPM) and Scheduling Analysis Module (SAM). In addition planners achieve to lower cost, higher benefit and more collaborate between CIMs componentsby Using STEP STANDARD as an important base of current methodology.
This thesis is organized with the following sections. It initially provides introduction about CIMs components and identifies the basic subjects of study that related to Integration of Process Planning and Scheduling (IPPS) and STEP STANDARD.After that, section 2goes for presentingliterature review by illustrating the various approaches to integration along with related contributions, discusses Non-Linear Approach (NLA), Closed Loop Approach (CLA) and deals with Distributed Approach (DA) and latest development approach. Section 3 presents an integration scheme for process planning and scheduling functions. Finally, Section 4 deals with the results as well as discussions and case study are presented in this Section - Keywords:
- Computer Integrated Manufacturing ; Standard for Exchange of Product Data (STEP) ; Process Planning ; Scheduling ; Integration ; Integrated Process Planning and Scheduling (IPPS)

- Each of these modules include parts and different performance, for instance :

- Table 4: Time Of Parts Machining (all of parts)
- Now we must schedule all of machines and parts based on Short Product Time rule (SPT). Considering to this rule can help us to achieve optimize job scheduling . By this plan answer is :
