  7. Abstract:
  8. In this work two shapes of silver nanostructures including silver nanowires and silver nanocubeswere synthesized by polyol method. Silver nanostructures were characterized by SEM, XRD and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Afterwards the morphology-dependent electrocatalyticperformance of these nanocrystals on the differential pulse behavior of naltrexone (NAL) was investigated. To this aim the differential pulse voltammetric behavior of NAL on a glassy carbon electrode modified with electrochemical deposited gold nanoparticles conjugated with different shapes of silver nanostructures and nafion was investigated. It was proved that silver nanowires show more effective electrocatalytic activity toward naltrexone redox process. This result was correlated with the intensity ratio of (100)/(111) crystallographic planes. The surface of the prepared electrode was investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. It was shown that silver nanowires reduces the electron transfer impedance more operational than nanocubes. After that the effect of various experimental parameters, included pH, accumulation time and volume of silver nanowire and nafion on the differential pulse voltammetric responses of NAL was evaluated and in optimized condition the calibration curve of differential pulse current vs. NAL concentration was drawn and two linear ranges were obtained from 1 to 20 µM and 20 to 100 µM. Also the detection limit was1.0×10-7 M. By means of the ready electrode, NAL was effectively determined in pharmaceutical sample. In another study the effect of silver nanowires on the differential pulse voltammetry of atorvastatin (ATV) was investigated. For this workthe differential pulse voltammetric behavior of ATV on a glassy carbon electrode modified with electrochemical deposited gold particles conjugated with silver nanowires and nafion was examined. The effect of various experimental parameters, such as pH, accumulation time and the modifier volume on the differential pulse voltammetric responses of ATV was evaluated. Inthe optimized condition the calibration curve of differential pulse current vs. ATV concentration was drawn with a linear ranges of 10-100nMand detection limit of 1.0 nM. The prepared modified electrode was successfully applied for the determination of ATV in pharmaceutical and human plasma samples.
