    Accuracy analysis of an integrated inertial navigation system in slow maneuvers

    Abstract
    In-motion alignment of a strapdown inertial navigation system, during slow maneuvers, is studied. Terrestrial velocity is fed back to the navigation system to estimate and compensate for the navigation errors. Observability of the errors is analyzed since the integrated navigation system is not fully observable. Then, the accuracy bounds of the navigation system in different motion scenarios are obtained analytically. By using a frequency domain approach, the necessary and sufficient condition on the values of time-delay is derived to guarantee the asymptotic swarm stability under a directed/undirected interaction graph.     Abstract
    We propose and analyze a circularly polarized slot antenna built on a ferrite substrate which is saturated normal to its plane and metalized on both sides. The antenna is built by etching a circular slot in the top metal layer. The antenna operates in the frequency range where the effective permeability of ferrite is negative. An accurate analytical model is derived for the antenna by solving the integral equation for the electric field on the circular slot.     Abstract
    In this paper by solving Dirac equation, we present an analytical solution to calculate energy levels and wave functions of mono- and bilayer graphene quantum dots. By supposing circular quantum dots, we solve Dirac equation and obtain energy levels and band gap with relations in a new closed and practical form. The energy levels are correlated with a radial quantum number and radius of quantum dots. In addition to monolayer quantum dots, AA- and AB-stacked bilayer quantum dots are investigated and their energy levels and band gap are calculated as well.     Secure computation has obtained significant attention in the literature recently. Classic architectures usually use either the Garbled Circuit (GC) or the Goldreich-Micali-Wigderson (GMW) protocols. So far, to reduce the complexity of communications in these protocols, various methods have been proposed. The best known work in both methods reduces the communication up to almost 2k-bits (k is the symmetric security parameter) for each AND gate, and using XOR gate is free. In this paper, by combining GC and GMW, we propose a scheme in the semi-honest adversary model.     This article presents a new model for pricing a new product considering a skimming pricing strategy in the presence of competition. We consider two periods for price setting, including skimming and an economy period. The problem is to decide on skimming as well as economy price, in order to maximize total profit. The derived model is a non-linear programming model and we have analyzed the structure and properties of an optimal solution to develop a solution method.     To determine the curvature of the exit profile in the extrusion process of non-symmetrical flat dies, the dead metal zone profile was predicted using the energy minimization method. The dead zone is a natural non-linear die for the process and it is pragmatic to use this non-linear die to estimate the value of the exit profile curvature and the required bearing length for reducing this deviation.     We introduce the new concept of "metalines" for manipulating the amplitude and phase profile of an incident wave locally and independently. Thanks to the highly confined graphene plasmons, a transmit-array of graphene-based metalines is used to realize analog computing on an ultracompact, integrable, and planar platform. By employing the general concepts of spatial Fourier transformation, a well-designed structure of such meta-transmit-array, combined with graded index (GRIN) lenses, can perform two mathematical operations, i.e., differentiation and integration, with high efficiency.     This letter discusses the surface-reconstruction-induced self-twisting behavior of Si100 nanobelts and nanowires (NWs) with rectangular cross section. Giving a thorough physical interpretation, we explain the reason behind this phenomenon and present a continuum-based model. It is revealed that these structures can self-assemble into both right- and left-handed helicoids depending on their crystal arrangements. More specifically, for NWs with the same number of layers in each of their cross sections directions, two distinct values of torsion angle are possible for each of right- and left-handed twisted morphologies.
