    Abstract
In the present study, metal complexes of 1-amidino-O-alkylureas were designed, synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR spectra, XRD, Mass analyses and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). All synthesized complexes were screen as α-Glucosidase inhibitors. According to the in vitro results, the Cu (II) complexes showed superior potency compared to other tested metal complexes. Particularly, [Cu(L-Me)2](Cl)2 (1b) showed the strongest inhibition against α-Glucosidase with an IC50 value of 2.75 ± 0.3 µM which was comparable to that of acarbose (IC50 = 750 µM). These findings are supported by the ligands and enzyme interactions through molecular docking. © 2021 Elsevier B.V

    Multi Stage Multi-Secret Sharing Schemes

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Fatemi, Mitra (Author) ; Aref, Mohammad Reza (Supervisor)
    Abstract
The subject of Secret Sharing refers to the methods that a secret information is shared (by a dealer) among a number of parties, so called participants, each having one or more shares, such that the predefined subsets of the participants, called authorized subsets, are able to regenerate the secret using their shares. A more general scheme which is called Multi Stage Secret Sharing (MSSS) is to share multiple secrets among the participants such that the authorized subsets can reconstruct the secrets in the consecutive stages; in these schemes, in addition to the individual shares, the dealer should provide the participants with a number of public values regarding the secrets. A Multi-Secret...

Synthesis, Characterization and Emission Study of Carbazole-Based Platinum(II) Pincer Complexes and their Emission Properties

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Hosseini, Mahsa (Author) ; Jamali, Sirous (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Platinum(II) complex [Pt(Carb-PPh2)Cl] (1) (Carb-PPh2 = 1,8-bis(phosphino)-3,6-di-tert-butyl carbazole) was synthesized from the reaction of K2[PtCl4] salt with PNP carbazole-based pincer ligand, 1,8-bis(phosphino)-3,6-di-tert-butyl carbazole (c) and LiHMDS in a 1:2:1.1 molar ratio. The structure of 1 was characterized by X-ray crystallography in solid state, NMR spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and photoluminescence spectroscopy in solution state. Platinum(II) complex [Pt(Carb-PPh2)(C≡CPh)] (2) was prepared from the reaction of complex 1 with phenylacetylene with a 3:1 molar ratio in the presence of CuI as a catalyst and triethylamine. Complex 2 was identified by NMR spectroscopy, UV-Vis...
