Study of ESP and Gas Lift Applications On low Productivity Wells of Alvand Oil Field

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Pornouri, Pouria (Author) ; Jamshidi, Saeed (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Alavand Oil field is located 50 Km away from west of Siri Island and includes DPG and DPH platforms. The production from Alavand field started in 1998 and till now 11 wells have been totally drilled .Since a production peak in 2001, the oil production in Alvand field has decreased. Water cut is increasing and reservoir pressure is decreasing gradually. Considering poor reservoir characteristic of this reservoir, productivity indexes of wells are relatively low. In addition; natural depletion of reservoir caused the wells to be unable to flow naturally and either closed or produce periodically consequently. To increase production and extend the lifetime of Alvand field, it is decided to start...

Optimization of Injection and Production Wells for Hydrocarbon Reservoirs

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Mohseni, Ehsan (Author) ; Taghizadeh Manzari, Mehrdad (Supervisor) ; Sadrhosseini, Hani (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Iran is one of the biggest suppliers of oil in the world. Iran's economy highly depends on its oil. Iran has valuable old reservoirs that need some techniques to optimize their production of it.Determining optimal well placement and control is essential to maximizing production from an oil field. The reservoir optimization problem is an extraordinary complex problem that depends on many factors such as flow pattern, well specification, reservoir properties, and environmental and economic criteria. Finding the locations of injection and production wells and other optimum operational parameters in the oil industry are very important and have a great influence on the operation of the...

Developing an Applied Model for Energy Management in Dairy Production Industry

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Bahmanpour khalesi, Ahmad Reza (Author) ; Mokhtar, Ali Reza (Supervisor) ; Miremadi, Ali Reza (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Reviewing trends of energy consumption in the world reveals that sooner or later energy resources will be depleted. This concerning rate of consumption has brought about more greenhouse gases (GHG) emission influencing deleteriously on environment and climate. Human has continued energy consumption to maintain and improve the quality of his life through industrial production. Industry as a significant energy user owns considerable contribution to this consumption. Several attempts have been carried out to develop energy management systems in order to improve the energy efficiency of industrial sectors. Whilst they are comprehensive and could be applied to any sector, there is lack of...

Configuration Management in Software Product Line

, Ph.D. Dissertation Sharif University of Technology Darmanaki Farahani, Elham (Author) ; Habibi, Jafar (Supervisor)
    Abstract
Employing Software Product Lines (SPLs) is an effective strategy for enabling and benefiting from software reuse. This strategy also greatly increases the number and types of artifacts. Managing these artifacts over the lifetime of the product line requires a highly effective Configuration Management (CM) process. This process is more complex for product lines compared to single systems. This is due to the special property of SPLs, in which the CM process must oversee the changes made to all artifacts under its control, especially the Core Assets, since two products may share the same Core Assets, and hence, changing one of them may affect the other. In addition, the CM in SPLs normally...

Design and Analysis of A Business Model Canvas Considering Entrepreneurship and New Product Development in a Fmcg Ecosystem

, M.Sc. Thesis Sharif University of Technology Azizpour, Rashid (Author) ; Fatahi Valilai, Omid (Supervisor)
    Abstract
The business model is very important, as many researchers in this field believe that the success or failure of a business is highly dependent on right design and application of this model. In most recent innovation studies, application of innovation in business models or developing an innovative business model itself is one of the main factors to enable an organization to have stable status in the competitive market. This is unlike the traditional believes, which technology and process were the main motivators behind organization to stand out in competitive market. Designing a proper business model requires a system thinking approach, which considers both internal interactions factors, and...
